"Vietnam vereran Fred Hillmann of Pleasantville, a former Marine, reads the names of those killed in battle during the candlelight vigil." (phraseology is the newspapers, not the webmasters!)
"Local veterans gathered at the Vietnam War Memorial at Lasdon Park in Somers last Sunday (22 DEC 2002) to remember and honor those killed in battle. The event was sponsored by the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 49 and included a prayer service, a reading of the names of the veterans killed in action, a lighted Christmas tree, poems and a candle lighting>"
