Homes for the Disabled
The archdiocese operates two homes for the disabled in Budaka and Butiru
where children and young adults are encouraged to develop their motor skills
and talents in order to become self-reliant. Besides giving them
physical care, the archdiocese runs special schools and programmes adapted
to the special needs of the disabled.

Unfortunately, the archdiocesan funds are limited and can only provide
aids such as crutches and a few wheelchairs. It does not have the
ability to provide state-of-the-art prosthetics, which would make such
a difference in the lives of these young people.
