Demography

The archdiocese has a population of approximately 2,000,000, of which it is estimated that 80% are Christians, 10% Muslims and the remaining 10% split between various religions. The average family size is between 7-8+ people, with women having between 5-8 children. The family growth rate is presently 2.6%.
