Altar Servers

Boys and girls, 3rd grade and above, are eligible for this ministry. Training sessions are held from time to time. Servers should arrive 15 minutes before Mass to help prepare the altar and remain for a few minutes afterward in order to leave things tidy.


The Children's Liturgy

Small children are invited to come to the Church Meeting Room during the Liturgy of the Word at the 9:00AM Sunday Mass. They return to the Mass during the presentation of the gifts. While in the Meeting Room, members of this ministry read and discuss the Mass readings on a child's level. This ministry is open to adults and high school students who may volunteer as assistants.


Eucharistic Ministers

Eucharistic Ministers assist with distribution of Holy Communion during Mass and by bringing the Eucharist to people who cannot attend Mass. To be involved in this ministry, you must be an adult in good standing with the Church. Training and schedules are provided.


Lectors

Lectors proclaim the Word of God within the context of liturgical worship at St. Patrick's. Ministry members read the assigned readings at Sunday Masses and at other special liturgical celebrations. It helps to be a good communicator with a strong voice. To be involved in this ministry, you must be in good standing with the Church. Training and schedules are provided.


Music Ministry
Music ministers are welcomed-both as singers and instrumentalists-to enhance the beauty of the liturgies. Different types of music are offered at the various Masses. Those willing to lend their skill should note the particular music type.

Usher Society

The ushers help with seating, collections, greeting and the distribution of bulletins as the end of Mass. They are the faces that say "Welcome!" each Sunday


Eucharistic Adoration

The people of St. Patrick's Parish maintain a ministry of adoration in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament. The Chapel of Eucharistic Adoration in located in St. Patrick's Cenacle. Adoration is daily. Adorers are needed in the various time slots to maintain this vital service of prayer.


Immaculate Heart of Mary Rosary Group

This is a ministry of prayer for the parish, the Church, and the world, in response to Mary's request that the Rosary be prayer. The group meets Monday through Saturday at 7:45AM in the church and recites the complete rosary of twenty mysteries.
